MANA and RDP Wants to Showcase Black Greek Authors and Aspiring Authors!

MarketingNewAuthors.com (MANA), and its parent company Robbie Dean Press (RDP) are committed to showcasing the work of diverse groups of authors.

This month, the two Ann Arbor, MI-based companies are issuing a call for published authors and manuscripts by aspiring authors who are members of the Divine Nine Black Greek organizations. 

Several members of Black Greek organizations have already published books with MANA and RDP. To view these books and learn more about the authors, visit MANA's website HERE. 

Now, check out the offers for published authors and aspiring authors below: 

For Published Authors

If you are already an author, MANA, a self-publishing company, invites you to display your book on MANA’s website. If you choose to promote your book, please send:

• A description of your book

• A brief biography of yourself

• A JPEG image of the book cover as an attachment.

Authors will receive a royalty of 70 percent of the money paid to MANA. The cost to promote your books on MANA’s website:

• $100 registration fee
• $19.13 per month (a minimum of six months) showcase fee

For Aspiring Authors

1. Self-publishing

MANA offers various self-publishing plans for those who are ready to publish their book.

Aspiring authors who take advantage of any of these plans will receive the following services:

• Consultation
• Customized layout
• Color front and back covers
• Webpage
• Digital marketing
• and more

The MANA Review Board will review all works. If recommended for publication, MANA will issue a contract. After the involved parties have signed, MANA will begin work on the manuscript.

2. Traditional publishing

Aspiring authors who want traditional publishing services can choose RDP, which publishes textbooks by college faculty authors and other authors. RDP has published a wide range of works, from academic textbooks to fiction and nonfiction works.

The RDP Review Board will review manuscripts. Upon recommendation for publication, RDP will present a contract. The key features of the contract are:

• RDP will pay for all of the publishing services
• RDP will pay 15% for all books purchased for the first (1st) year.
• For the subsequent years after the first, the royalty will be 20 percent for every book purchased.
• The author must guarantee sales of one hundred (100) texts for two (2) consecutive semesters for two (2) years.

RDP will provide digital marketing services.

Why are manuscripts refereed by review boards?

RDP and MANA require more than just your money; they require top-notch quality. The rigor of quality is expected of all manuscripts submitted to MANA and RDP.

A “Thank You” Referral Bonus

If you refer someone to MANA or RDP, and that individual signs a contract and makes a down payment, you will receive a referral “thank-you” bonus of $500. You can either keep the $500 referral bonus for your own use or have MANA donate that amount to your favorite charity.
