Would you like to test your knowledge of grammar? If so, then test out your skills in MarketingNewAuthors.com (MANA) "Five-Day Grammar Challenge."
If you are able to meet and pass four challenges, you will get a free copy of the e-book version of MANA"s book on grammar, titled, Bare Essentials Bits—The Book. The book is based on a series of MANA's podcasts on grammar (go HERE to read our blog post about the book).
You will also receive a $10 gift certificate to purchase any item on the MANA website. The certificate will last for six (6) months.
The fifth challenge involves writing a 250-word short story for possible publication in the April or June issue of MANA's newsletter, The MANA Sunset.
Are you ready for the Grammar Challenge?
1. There are ten (10) grammatical errors in the paragraph below. Write the whole paragraph.
2. Under the paragraph, write the sentence and indicate the errors and explain why you feel such errors exist.
3. E-mail the error to: firstname.lastname@example.org.
When I pass from this life I want to be remembered for several things. Before you pass there might be many questions that others may want to remember. This question challenges many. This is an inquiry that periodically comes up in our minds. The number of people who mourn our life ending help up know how good of a life you have. Or that would be important to many of us. Important to many of us.
Enjoy the challenge!

MANA's Latest Released: "Bare Essentials Bits—The Book: Providing the Puzzle Pieces of Good Grammar, Precise Punctuation, and Accurate Word Choice
|MANA's Latest Release!|
When do you use:
Singular Indefinite Pronouns?
We often use parts of speech, contractions, and other types of grammar in our writing and daily communication with others. Let’s face it, knowing how to use grammar correctly can become puzzling:
“Did I use its correctly?”
When do I use they’re?”
“Where do I put the comma in this sentence?”
This can get confusing, and even embarrassing if you are a blogger, teacher, marketer or someone whose work goes public!
Last summer, MarketingNewAuthors.com (MANA) featured a successful series of weekly podcasts titled, “Bare Essential Bits.” (Go HERE to listen to the podcasts.) Because there appeared to be a substantial interest in the topic, Dr. Fairy C. Hayes-Scott, owner of MANA and its parent company, Robbie Dean Press, created Bare Essentials Bits—The Book: Providing the Puzzle Pieces of Good Grammar, Precise Punctuation, and Accurate Word Choice.
