MANA's Books of the Month for November

As a way to introduce MarketingNewAuthors.com to a new audience, MANA features “Books of the Month” written by MANA’s authors.

MANA’s Book of the Month feature is not the traditional subscription-based book service in which members pay for and receive a new book each month. MANA promotes books by MANA authors through its various media channels. Readers may preview and purchase a book on the book’s web page.

Our books for November 2017 are Dancer & Other Tattered Threads of PTSD Lives: After the Wars by T. Patrick Devlin, and A Soldier’s Poetic Response: A Slice of His Life by Captain Adrian Massey.

As a special offer, purchase a copy of Dancer & Other Tattered Threads of PTSD Lives: After the Wars, or A Soldier’s Poetic Response: A Slice of His Life and receive $5 off the price of another book on MarketingNewAuthors.com's website. A $5 rebate check will be sent to you after purchase of Dancer & Other Tattered Threads of PTSD Lives: After the Wars or A Soldier’s Poetic Response: A Slice of His Life.

Dancer & Other Tattered Threads of PTSD Lives: After the Wars
by T. Patrick Devlin

There’s no getting around it, Post-traumatic Stress Syndrome (PTSD) is real and has affected soldiers of various wars. In Dancer & Other Tattered Threads of PTSD Lives: After the Wars, author T. Patrick Devlin has taken the challenges of PTSD for veterans and conveyed them into three short stories.

Although the stories are fictional, Devlin does not approach these challenges in a stereotypical manner. Instead, in the short stories, “Dad’s TV”, “Dancer”, and “Roadkill” the author brings clear insight into the lives of veterans, their family members and others who interact with them.

A Soldier’s Poetic Response: A Slice of His Life

by Captain Adrian Massey

U.S. Army Captain Adrian Massey has a love for his country and a love for writing. The Michigan native and Eastern Michigan University graduate served two tours of duty in Iraq and continues his career in the military.

Capt. Massey drew even closer to his pen during his first tour of duty in Iraq. The majority of his book, A Soldier's Poetic Response: A Slice of His Life was written while stationed in Iraq.

"I am a poet by life experience and Army Officer by trade," Massey writes on his blog.
