MANA's African-African Authors' Books Exhibited at the 92nd Annual Black History Month Luncheon in D.C.

MarketingNewAuthors.com (MANA) is celebrating Black History Month with a display of MANA books by African-American authors at the 92nd annual Black History Month luncheon on Saturday, Feb. 24th at the Washington Renaissance Hotel, 999 Ninth Street, NW, Washington, D.C.

The luncheon is hosted by the Association for the Study of African American Life and History (ASALH), the founders of Black History Month. In 1926, ASALH’s founder, Dr. Carter G. Woodson, created the annual Black History celebration, which highlights a theme of historical and current importance.

“Black History Month is our time to focus national attention on the significant events and achievements of African Americans who advanced freedom and democracy,” ASALH’s National President Dr. Evelyn Brooks Higginbotham said in a news release
Since MANA's inception in 2002, MANA has maintained its focus on providing authors of all ages and genre the opportunity not to just have a work printed but exhibited in various conferences.

So, in celebration of Black History Month, MANA has publications of several of the African-American authors it represents will exhibited at the 92nd Annual Black History Luncheon on February 24.

Prior to the luncheon, a featured authors’ event which is free and open to the public will allow individuals to interact with authors from across the nation who have written on a variety of issues related to African Americans and other topics. A variety of book types will also be represented, ranging from children’s books to scholarly works.

MANA will have several books written by its African-American authors on display.  If you plan to attend the luncheon, check out MANA’s display of books. To view MANA's list of publications, go HERE

The books are available for purchase on MANA's website at MarketingNewAuthors.com.
